Exhibition "Spills" Audrey Larouche
The exhibition "Spills", held at the campus library of Charlesbourg, presents the evolution of painting of Audrey Larouche, art teacher Cégep Limoilou plastics.
The show is divided into two stages. Inside the library, there are abstractions automatically through which she developed her style of painting. Outside, a series of recent paintings reveals how his practice has grown in painting. A more reflective paint but keeps the same spontaneity and the same concern for composition and color. It presents a series of paintings where she revisits the formula of the classic portrait by adding gesture and theatricality colorist burlesque.

Ready works of art from the collection of Cégep Limoilou
Until 22 December, Carrefour's information campus Quebec, discover the works forming the first new collection of works of art Cégep Limoilou. The works are "Utopia", by Camille Lessard-Smith, who graduated in May 2009, and "Flower Island" made by Eve-Marie Bourget, who graduated in 2010.
Since May 2010, the college has a program to acquire works by graduates of the Visual Arts. Now, each year, a jury will select an original aesthetic and technical qualities and exceptional symbolic conducted by a graduate or a graduate to be acquired by the college.
These works will be offered to lend one of the services that the College will request, in order to expose them to long term in the premises of the establishment. If you are charmed by one of the works and want to show it in your office, you can apply to Emily Santerre-Ayotte , program coordinator of visual arts. The criteria for awarding works to services that request it will be of relevance in terms of work, safety, conservation, visibility and development of the work.
In addition, two works have received a special mention. This is "The best is to get those faces like mirrors" conducted by Virginia Fortier, graduated in May 2009 and "is a matter of language! "Performed by Eliane Rousseau, who graduated in May 2010.
The works will be presented from January 24 to February 25, 2011 at Carrefour's Information Campus Charlesbourg.
